Key Biscayne Yacht Club

Key Biscayne Yacht Club (KBYC) is a private yacht club and marina on Harbor Drive in the Village of Key Biscayne, set on the protected waters of Biscayne Bay. Boaters value it as a comfortable, full-service stop close to Miami—without the open-ocean exposure you’d see at the inlets.

On site you’ll find wet and dry slips, fuel (Rec 90 gas and dyed diesel), and boater essentials like showers and ice available around the clock. Visiting boats should request permission before tying up, and reservations are typically required—especially during regattas, holidays, and club events.

Founded in 1955, KBYC is also known for its active Corinthian sailing culture and club atmosphere, making it a memorable staging point for day trips around the bay when conditions and regulations allow.

KBYC’s marina sits inside Biscayne Bay in a generally calm, protected setting—ideal for day boating, provisioning stops, and overnight plans when space is available. The marina reports 98 wet slips and 39 dry slips, plus courtesy docks that can work well for short stays (popular for lunch and brief overnights for smaller vessels).

Visiting yachts should contact the dock office before arrival. The marina notes that reservations are needed, berthing can be restricted during holidays/regattas, and you must obtain permission before entering a slip or tying up. A published transient rate is $4.60 per foot per day (electric additional/varies).
